Video: Morocco’s Beaches Prepare Salah and His Teammates for Senegal Clash

The Egyptian national football team is currently seeking to alleviate the mounting pressures surrounding them by enjoying some leisure time at a beach in Morocco, following their advancement to the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

On Saturday, the Egyptian team overcame the Ivory Coast with a score of 3-2 in the quarter-finals held in Morocco, and now they are gearing up for an upcoming clash against Senegal in the semi-finals, scheduled for next Wednesday.

The Moroccan website “Al-Botola” captured players from the Egyptian squad, including their captain and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, engaging in a game of beach volleyball at Taghazout Beach in the city of Agadir on Sunday morning.

Through their official Facebook page, “Al-Botola” shared a video showcasing the Egyptian players at the beach, commenting: “It appears that the global star Mohamed Salah has blended well with the Moroccan atmosphere and the mild climate of Agadir.”

They further noted, “The Egyptian captain, along with his national team players, is relishing the sands of Taghazout this morning after their victory over the Ivory Coast.”

Upcoming Clash with Senegal

The Egyptian team is determined to seek revenge against Senegal, aiming to eliminate them from the tournament after the Senegalese triumphed over the Pharaohs in both the final of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the decisive match that qualified for the 2022 World Cup.

It is worth mentioning that the winner of the match between Egypt and Senegal will face the victor of the encounter between Morocco and Nigeria in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations next Sunday.
