Schareina Wins the 3rd Stage – Dakar Rally Raid

On Wednesday, during the fourth stage of the Dakar Rally, Tosha Schareina (Honda) achieved a remarkable feat, securing victory for the second consecutive day and taking the lead in the overall standings. Schareina recorded a time that matched that of his teammate Ricky Brabec, who finished second on the day. This shift in rankings saw Daniel Sanders (KTM), the former leader, drop to third place.

Impressive Performance in the Marathon Stage

Tosha Schareina, the 30-year-old Spanish rider, not only repeated his impressive performance from the previous day but added an extra triumph by winning the marathon stage, which spanned 417 kilometers and was conducted without assistance after the finish. This victory occurred in the rugged terrain around AlUla, showcasing his skills as a leading competitor in the 2026 Dakar Rally.

With two victories in just as many days, Schareina has firmly established himself as a dominant force in this year’s event. His recent success has propelled him ahead of Daniel Sanders, marking a significant shift in the competition as the rally progresses.

The Dakar Rally continues to be a test of endurance and skill, with riders facing various challenges throughout the stages. As the event unfolds, all eyes will be on Schareina and his pursuit of further victories in the coming days.
