Al Hilal, the prominent Saudi Arabian football club, is reportedly preparing to make a substantial bid for Brazilian star Raphinha, who currently plays for FC Barcelona. According to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, the club is set to present an offer amounting to 100 million euros for the forward, whose contract with Barcelona extends until the summer of 2028.
Raphinha has been enjoying an outstanding spell at Barcelona, recently showcasing his skills during the Spanish Super Cup, which was broadcast exclusively on the “Thama” app, the dedicated carrier of the Roshan League in Saudi Arabia. His performance included scoring two goals in a commanding 5-0 victory against Athletic Bilbao in the semi-finals of the Super Cup.

Head coach Hans Flick of Barcelona is eager to retain Raphinha at all costs; however, the impending offer from Al Hilal might complicate the German manager’s intentions. As reported by El Nacional, Al Hilal plans to propose a fixed fee of 80 million euros, supplemented by an additional 20 million euros in performance-related bonuses and variables to facilitate Raphinha’s transfer.
Raphinha’s contract includes an impressive release clause set at 1 billion euros. Nonetheless, there is an informal agreement with sporting director Deco, indicating a willingness to engage in negotiations should a lucrative offer materialize.

As the situation unfolds, all eyes will be on whether Al Hilal’s ambitious bid will sway Barcelona’s decision regarding their talented winger. The outcome of these developments could significantly impact the dynamics of both the Saudi Pro League and European football.
