Luis Enrique, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), playfully engaged with journalists ahead of the upcoming classic match against Olympique Marseille, scheduled for Thursday in the French Super Cup final taking place in Kuwait.
When asked about his thoughts on predictions made by the technology “ChatGPT,” Enrique burst into laughter during a press conference held on Wednesday in Kuwait.
The Spanish coach remarked, “You should have asked (ChatGPT) last season who would win the Champions League? No one expected Paris Saint-Germain to be crowned champions.”
Continuing with his humorous tone, which was captured by Radio Monte Carlo, he added, “Anyone using this technology should be intelligent.”
Preparing for the Clash Against Marseille
Enrique emphasized the significance of the match against Marseille, stating, “This is a classic encounter, and a new title is at stake. These are strong motivators for us.”

The date of the match is set for January 8, 2026, at 21:00, where Paris Saint-Germain will face Marseille.

Concluding his remarks, Enrique stated, “We want to dominate the game as we need the ball to perform well. Our goal is to be more effective both with and without the ball.”
Luis Enrique took the helm of PSG in the summer of 2023 and has led the team to win nine domestic, continental, and global titles in his first two seasons, including the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup, marking significant milestones in the club’s history.
For these remarkable achievements, Luis Enrique was awarded the titles of Best Coach in the World for 2025 at the Ballon d’Or ceremony and the FIFA “The Best” award ceremony.
